The Hyperion Investment Funds (‘Scheme’) is a managed investment scheme. The Scheme has on offer two single sector investment funds, one of which is the Hyperion Australian Growth Companies PIE Fund (‘Fund’), which provides investors with exposure to Australian equities.
The Fund is actively managed and invests primarily in Australian listed companies included in the S&P/ASX 300 Index at the time of investment and will also have some exposure to cash.

Investment Policy and Objectives
The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve long-term returns above the S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index in NZ dollars and minimise the risk of permanent capital loss.
Investment Strategy
The Fund invests primarily in growth-oriented Australian listed companies included in the S&P/ASX 300 Index at the time of initial investment and will have some exposure to cash.
Typically, the Fund is highly concentrated with 15-30 stocks that in Investment Manager’s view:
- have high-quality business franchises
- have above average long-term growth potential
- have low levels of gearing
- have earnings that have the potential to be sustained and grow in the long run.
